The formidable years are very important in the upbringing of a person who may be destined to lead this great country of Canada.
 As our youth are influenced by much of what we see around us, we as responsible adults are encouraged to assist them in their growth and responsible decision making.
In the tender years of pre-teens, we need to give our children opportunity which will encourage them to express themselves in a positive way, and art in its many forms is one way,
To assist mothers and fathers, I'm offering them an opportunity to help them, in their early stages of develop ment.
As a child, I was encouraged to draw and to colour pictures, and when one of my pictures was selected and displayed for all the other students in the school to see, it was a very big boost to my moral. What I'm proposing to do, is to offer a similar opportunity for the children in our area to also have their talents displayed. Not just in their schools but here, where the whole world can view their work.
Children can then send links to their grandparents and other family members or even friends, letting them see their handy work.

Every selection period 3 winners (of the submissions we receive, one from each of the three age groups) will be selected and displayed on the Internet for 12 months:
During each draw a team of judges will review all entries submitted. Three entries will be selected; one from each age group. The lucky winners will be notified and with their permission their entry will be exposed on the Internet up to 12 months.
At every selection period where there is a new winner for the random draw, 3 more will be eligible. When a full year has elapsed, the initial 3 will be replaced with 3 new ones. As each random period then passes, the next 3 will be replace with 3 new new winners.
Eligibility:
All entries for the Random Draw, received will be eligible for the random draw. No restrictions on the number of complete entries.
Colouring Contest is open primarily for all ages up to and including 12 years of age. Qualifying Age Groups: under 5 years, 6 - 9 years and 10 - 12 years. In each selection period, one winner from each of these 3 age groups will be selected for uploading to the Internet.
Additional Official Entry Forms are available online. Check back throughout the year for new links for eligible entry forms. Cut off date for entries is on the last day of the month. Entries received after the end of the month will be automatically entered in the next month's contest.
For those under and over the three eligible age groups may also enter the Random Draw - however - only the winners of those 1st 3 groups ranging in ages up to and including 12 will be eligible for uploading to the Internet.
